1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the 10 Vocabs app ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

10 Vocabs is a free English vocabulary learning application that helps users build their vocabulary through daily practice. The App offers curated word packs (Daily Words, Tech & Engineering, Medical English, Legal Terminology, Finance & Banking, Hospitality & Tourism, Marketing & Advertising, Education & Teaching, and Science & Research), progress tracking, meaning match exercises, flashcard reviews, spaced repetition, streak tracking, achievements, and offline learning capabilities. Core features and word packs are provided free of charge. We may introduce premium features or paid content in the future.

3. Use of the App

You agree to use the App only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You will not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App or its content without permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App
• Use the App to distribute malware or harmful content
• Circumvent any technical limitations or access controls
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

4. Account

The App requires an account for cloud sync and progress tracking. You may sign in using your email address, Google account, or Apple ID. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized use.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, text, graphics, and vocabulary content, is owned by 10 Vocabs or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the correctness, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content. Specifically:

• Word definitions, meanings, pronunciation guides, and example sentences may contain inaccuracies
• Usage tips and professional examples are provided for educational purposes only and should not be relied upon as authoritative linguistic or professional guidance
• The App is a learning aid, not a substitute for professional language instruction, dictionaries, or academic resources
• We recommend verifying critical vocabulary with authoritative reference sources when precision matters

10 Vocabs assumes no liability for errors, omissions, or misunderstandings resulting from AI-generated content.

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Firebase Authentication (by Google) — for user sign-in and account management
• Cloud Firestore (by Google) — for storing and syncing learning progress, settings, and user data
• Firebase Storage (by Google) — for storing user profile avatars
• Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple — for third-party authentication

Your use of the App is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of these third-party providers. We encourage you to review Google/Firebase Terms and Apple's Terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. Learning outcomes may vary depending on individual effort and consistency. Content accuracy is not guaranteed (see Section 6).

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 10 Vocabs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated content, data loss, or service interruptions.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App or on our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
